Robert Emery Smith

Robert Emery Smith is the Director of Classroom Innovation for the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning at Stanford University.  He works with faculty, engineers, architects and AV/IT professionals to design, implement and support the use and evaluation of classroom activities using contemporary tools and media. An experienced lectromechanical engineer, Bob returned to Stanford University in 2000 to direct the design team that created Wallenberg Hall, where he has overseen learning space research operations since the facility opened in 2002.
